I won't. I am a fan, but this further and continued exploitation has killed it for me. Some problems here and there aside, the prequels at least felt like Star Wars where this Disney stuff doesn't, even if the technical quality is good.

The usual order, after I do a fan edit of the three prequels with a running time of two minutes.

The Reset Button that Disney had Lucasfilm push and render the OT pointless? no thanks.

I won't be watching any more of the "episodes", especially now that Carrie Fisher has passed away. But the anthology films have potential. Disney can still do right by Star Wars with those.

Since I've seen them already and understand where they fin in the timeline, I don't need to worry about any particular order upon rewatch. The bigger question is how will I have my son watch them? I'll go:

He will not be watching the prequel trilogy if I have any say in the matter. I think the OT is a good start, then a palate cleanser of Rogue One, because it's definitely Star Wars but has a different feel to it and because there should be a break before the enjoyable rehash that is TFA.

I am sure that is exactly what you meant. You would never misspeak now would you? Of course not that is out of the question. Searching through your posts it is amazing how a person saying so little can speak volumes about their character. I feel bad for your son.

If I watch Star Wars, the other two seem to inevitably follow, but sometimes I'll just watch Empire or Jedi on their own. I haven't seen the prequels in over a year now, and that time was the first time I'd seen them since they were in theaters.

Rogue One was supposed to be a stand-alone movie, but, come on, it's a prequel to the original. So maybe the saga will start there for me. I don't know.
