Film General : Make 3 movie related confessions

Make 3 movie related confessions

I have not seen Cafe Society, though I'm a Woody Allen fan.

I think Transformers 2 is the best of the bunch.

I really like Space Cowboys.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I think Forrest Gump is mind-numbingly boring.

I like The Fan w/ DeNiro and Snipes.

I don't mind that Samuel L. Jackson is in just about every movie.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I've not seen any Rocky film
I (generally) like watching mindless CGI action films
I love anime and think its better than Disney/Pixar

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I like King Kong (76) more than Jackson's version.
I think The Little Prince is the best animated movie of 2016 (made in '15 but released in '16)
Also don't like Gump, mainly because it beat out two far superior movies for the Oscar.

Being like everybody is the same as being nobody.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I masturbated to Sigourney Weaver in an afternoon matinee of Death and the Maiden (1994).
I've never seen Titanic.
I walked out of The Blair Witch Project (1999) halfway through and demanded my money back.

Some people are OK, but mostly I just feel like poisoning everybody.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I've only watched two Hitchcock movies - The Birds and Psycho.

I don't care that Scarlett Johansson was chosen to play The Major in the upcoming Ghost in the Shell live action film. The anime character, like most others, looks white anyway.

I have a collection of movies to fall asleep to, since I need some kind of background noise to fall asleep faster.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I don't care about story, characters, or dialogue.

Of the top 50 movies of all-time at the worldwide box-office I've enjoyed exactly 4 of them. I generally don't love popular movies.

I think Final Destination 5 may be the best horror movie ever made.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I am completely turned off by bio-pics and other movies "based on a true story" (it is amazing how many famous lives and have followed a typical Hollywood plot arc).

I am completely turned off of the idea of watching fat, self-satisfied, rich actors playing disabled (e.g. both of 2014's top acting winners for "Still Alice" and "The Theory of Everything").

I have seen all but one Best Picture Oscar winner from 1928 to 1999, but have missed 4 (25%) since the start of the new century - and the ones I have seen, I saw almost by accident (e.g. I didn't have the faintest idea that they had a prayer).

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I think Full Metal Jacket is Kubricks best

I enjoy S.W.A.T a lot more than I 'should'

I enjoy the Halloween & Texas Chainsaw remakes more than the originals

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I watched class of 1984 (1984) this week for about the 100th time. Terrible movie. Lol.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

oh wow how daring that ur 3 confessions are about mainstream American movies damn boi you should really move here sometime

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I've never seen the original Star Wars trilogy.

Adam Sandler is one of my favorite actors.

I didn't care for Casablanca.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I have not seen Shawshank, though I'm a Stephen King fan

I think Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars movie

I love Snoop Dogg's slasher movie Bones

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

The first Disney animated movie I ever saw in a theater was The Lion King- at the age of 18.

In theaters, I have seen five movies released on or before the year of my birth: (Strangers on a Train, The Killing, Psycho, The Godfather, and Taxi Driver).

I think the reason Sony Pictures is in the dumps these days is due to their logo being added prior to each of their separate divisions.

Why do they give out letter jackets to marching band? It's not a sport! We all know it!

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I like into the blue
Joel Shumacher is a great director
Modern french cinema sucks

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I think Blazing Saddles sucks

I think Caddyshack sucks

Woody Allen is overated

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

The sex scene in Anomalisa made me firm

The Eyes Wide Shut cult sequence made me also firm

That one scene in The Assassination of jesse James and the Coward Robert Ford where the guy walks into the greenhouse and the girl is fingerbanging herself got me on a record masturbation spree

Umm . . . she was sitting in an outhouse when he walked in, and she played at being modest by closing her legs and covering up . . . but clearly, you seem to be a happy, horny little monkey with a vivid imagination. chacun son goût.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

What a strange post to randomly click without warning,

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

greenhouse, outhouse, same thing. I mean of course basically none of it was shown but what wasnt shown, leaving it to the imagination, the little that was shown, and the way the whole ordeal played out all made my dick go like one of those carnival things where you hit the thing with the hammer and the thing shoots up and its like a strength test but i mean knowing my dick it didnt go that high lmao knawmsayn

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I actually kind of like Lifetime made-for-TV movies.

I'm much more likely to watch a piece-of-crap movie if the key words say "full-frontal female nudity".

I like 70's XXX porn and not just for the sex.

"Let be be finale of seem/ The only emperor is the Emperor of Ice Cream"

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

What else do you like about 70s xxx porn?

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

The graininess can be nice.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I don't think Meryl Streep deserved to be nominated more than five times.

I think Montgomery Clift should have won 3 Oscars instead of 0.

Jessica Lange should have won 5 Oscars

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I prefer Hannibal 2001 to Silence Of The Lambs 1991

I have fallen asleep every time I've tried to watch Hot Fuzz

I fell in love with Jennifer Tilly's character Violet in Bound

Whole lot of ugly from a never ending parade of stupid.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I fell in love with Jennifer Tilly's character Violet in Bound
oh Jana, that ain't a confession. Might as well be wearing a necklace saying "I fell in love with Jennifer Tilly's character Violet in Bound" you mention it so often.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I do seem to mention it a lot, don't I?!

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

"Powder Blue" is one of my favorite films from 2009 and I feel Forest Whitaker should have been nominated for an Academy Award for his performance.

I think the terms "Overrated," "Pretentious," and "The Emperor Has No Clothes" are the most meaningless terms used in relation to cinema. They reveal more about the person who uses them than the film(s) they are discussing.

Due to being home-bound for much of my life, I've seen over thirty thousand individual films.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I had my first sexual experience with a girl in a movie theater, it was a handjob, and I was 12. The movie we saw was Hot Shots!

I think Citizen Cane is mind-numbingly boring, and I have rated it 4/10.

There's Something About Mary is one of the very few movies, that I have rated 10/10.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I made a bet with two other friends who could eat all the thai chiles currently on the table at lunch. I don't remember how we determined it, but the kid who lost ate them all (about 25 of them). We then went next door where we had tickets to the 10.5 hour LOTR marathon. He made it up to the siege in The Two Towers, and none of us are friends anymore.

I'll turn movies off if they're boring at home, but in the theater (that I remember) I've only walked out on two of them: Hostel and the 2000 rom-com What Women Want starring Mel Gibson. I was eventually forced to watch the latter again as the in-flight movie over the Atlantic on a Lufthansa. I almost walked out on it again.

Sometimes I've seen a movie a second time in the theater in order to experience it completely wasted.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

Speed Racer is my favorite film by the Wachowskis and it's not close.

I don't think Scorsese's made a really great film since Raging Bull. Except maybe The Aviator.

Often when I'm watching movies the active part of my brain is thinking about the lighting, color, and spatial configuration of what's in frame, while I'm only taking in the story and dialogue passively.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

Those are some pretty boring confessions in my opinion.

1.) I have little interest in watching Fellini's films.
2.) I find Mulholland Dr. more easier to understand than Chinatown.
3.) I watch a number of films for their sexual content.

Favorite Films: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls073282425/

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

1.) I have little interest in watching Fellini's films.

Which have you seen?

2.) I find Mulholland Dr. more easier to understand than Chinatown.

It is! Much more intuitive.

"You see things; and you say Why? But I dream things that never were and I say Why not?"

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I only like Showgirls for its sexual content tbh.

shame shame shame

Lately I'm watching too few new movies, and I haven't seen any 2016 movies yet.

I like Holocaust related movies, especially Schindler's List.

I think Mulholland Dr. is just an ink blot, not a butterfly.

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I didn't like The Departed

I think Transformers 3 is the best of the bunch

I'm a huge Joaquin Phoenix fan but haven't seen Gladiator

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

Jessica Alba is no worse as an actress than Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.

Faye Dunaway should have won an Oscar for Mommie Dearest.

Bridesmaids is one of the 10 best movies of this century (or even ever if you ask me)

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I absolutely hate Goodfellas and The Deer Hunter.

The only excellent Scorsese films are Taxi Driver and Raging Bull, nothing else comes close.

I have never watched Citizen Kane.

How's Annie? How's Annie? Hahaha, How's Annie?

Re: Make 3 movie related confessions

I find Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, and Stanley Kubrick all equally awful.

I don't think Meryl Streep is a good actress, let alone worth thirty Oscar nominations. She's too arrogant and coasts through all of her roles. Same with Brando, though replace "actress" with "actor".

The Good, the Bad, the Weird is the greatest film ever.

Forgive me, Father, for I have eaten my cast mate.
