Was Spider-Man (2002) the peak of the comic book movie genre?

Would you agree that the Spider-Man film in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy was the peak of the comic book movie genre and a benchmark that the genre has yet to surpass???

Re: Was Spider-Man (2002) the peak of the comic book movie genre?

Thankfully not even close. Raimi sucked.

I'm pretty sure TDK is generally considered the peak of the comic book film.

X2 and Spider-Man 2 are considered better than Spider-Man (2002).
