Creed Bratton : funniest line ever…

funniest line ever…

when he's at the bar and all the young people start giving him props.

"I run a small fake id company from my car with a laminator i swiped from the sherrif's station." I havent laughed that hard in a while.

Re: funniest line ever…

Hanging brain

Bakin' Bacon with Macon

Re: funniest line ever…

I thought Creed's best line was when Kevin was telling him111c about how Jim had a crush on Pam. Creed responds with something like, "that's great, who's Pam?"

Re: funniest line ever…

My favorite Line was when he Ryan was saying that Creed smelled like old people, and Creed just smirked.

"I grow Mung Beans in my desk drawer; they are very nutritious but they smell like death."

Hahaha

Also, when he won the Casino prize and he dropped all the chips out of his shirt, then said "I've never won a fridge before." then walked away

He is sooo freakin funny.

Re: funniest line ever…

the mong beans line is his best line. And I think he said "I've never owned a fridge before"

Re: funniest line ever…

He's said a lot of funny ones, like the one when he's stealing stuff in the warehouse, something like "Yeah, I steal stuff all the time. I stopped caring a long time ago." Or the funniest yet that really cracked me up:
"I'm a pretty normal guy. I do one weird thing. I like to go in the womensroom for number two. I've been caught several times and I have paid dearly."
The way he says it, with the walkman on.. just brilliant

Re: funniest line ever…

You are absolutely right about both those quotes (and his stance on homosexuality in the comment below this) but you forgot about when he says, after "I steal things all the time" he adds, "It's just something I do." As if it's as innocent as making macrame. Brilliant. Best character on the show.

Re: funniest line ever…

To Meredith: "Andrea's the office bitch. You'll get used to her. (extends hand to shake) Creed."

Re: funniest line ever…

"I have no problem with gay people. Back in the 60's, I made love to MANY women, often outside, in the rain and mud. It's possible a man slipped in, there'd be no way of knowing."

cracks me up every time

Re: funniest line ever…

"Somebody making soup?"

Re: funniest line ever…

when he eats the POTATO

hahahha

Re: funniest line ever…

uhm him eating the potatoe was literally the funniest thing I've ever seen. I couldn't stop laughing at that one.

Re: funniest line ever…

"Anybody want to see a foot with four toes on it?"

LMAO

"This is America, and you've got the right to hate who you want, so lets start bustin heads!!!"

Re: funniest line ever…

What episode was the potato?

Re: funniest line ever…

Safety Training I think. When they are making all of the bets.

Re: funniest line ever…

At Phylis's wedding when he put his card on some ones elses present so he wouldn't have to buy one.

Re: funniest line ever…

M y favorite has to be the one where Michael calls a meeting about agism, I for get his exact line but its along lines of "why are old people treated so poorly?" and creed with freshly died hair replies "because they're lame."

Re: funniest line ever…

The guy was just hanging brain. What is the big deal.
If that's flashing then lock me up.

Re: funniest line ever…

"Hey Guys. Somebody making soup?" is definitely the best Creed line for me. I even quote it now when I smell something terrible.

Re: funniest line ever…

That is my all time favorite quote of Creed's!!! I'll say it to my husband (who doesn't watch the show) and he just doesn't get it. LOL!!!

Re: funniest line ever…

"You'll have to excuse Angela; she's the office bitch." HAHAHAHAHA

On top of that he just randomly starts eating her breakfast. lol

Re: funniest line ever…

"there'd be no way of knowing."

Creed grosses me out mostly, but this line just made me laugh and laugh

Dainty things never shrink from Lux!

When the New York tranfer is breast feeding.

Creed: Ditto that my brother

Swing Low, Sweet Cariots.

Re: funniest line ever…

"The guy was just hanging brain. I mean, whats all the fuss? If thats flashing then lock me up."

Re: funniest line ever…

'Au naturel. Swing low, sweet chariots'

After seeing Jan's boob job.

Re: funniest line ever…

When he says something like:
"This job is the only thing that seperates me from a homeless man. I'd do whatever it takes to survivejust like I did when I was a homeless man."

Re: funniest line ever…

The scene where he calls Angela the office bitch. But the funniest part is right after that when he introduces himself to Meredith even though they have been working together for a few years. Good stuff!

Re: funniest line ever…

the funnier thing is that he says, "That's Andreas, the office bitch."

Re: funniest line ever…

"Goodnight, Mary Beth!"

Re: funniest line ever…

This one is too funny, but Kevin's lines are paraphrased. Sorry!

Kevin: Did you hear? Jim has got it bad for Pam.
Creed: Ahhh which one is Pam?

Re: funniest line ever…

Creed doesn't get many lines, but the ones he does have are definitely the funniest on the show.

Re: funniest line ever…

He doesn't call Angela the office bitch. He calls "Andrea" the office bitch. Then he says, "You'll learn that."

Re: funniest line ever…

seriously, my favorite is when he says that he facked his own death for tax benefits! I nearly died!!! Then again, when a man could have slipped in, there'd be no way of knowing..yea, that's hillarious!! I love this chrater, with his comments spaced out so, he's great!

Re: funniest line ever…

Pam: "What?"
Creed: "I'm just looking."
Pam: "Please go back to your desk."
Creed: "In a minute."

Re: funniest line ever…

"Thanks, I've never owned a refridgerator."

Re: funniest line ever…

"I like to sprout mung beans on a damp paper towel. They smell like death."

Re: funniest line ever…

HAHAHAH! the mung beans! lol

Jim:"i think creed FORGOT to get me a gift,
reached into his closet and pulled out THIS
little number, and threw it in a plastic bag."

Creed:"yep, that's exactly what happened."

I'm not better than you, not worse either.
No, wait, I am better than you. Never mind.

Re: funniest line ever…

I forget the exact words but it went something like this, in the episode where Ed Truck died by getting his head decapitated.

Creed: A human can live for 8 days without his head.
Michael: You're thinking a chicken.
Creed: What did I say?

Re: funniest line ever…

Dwight: "Do you have the tools necessary to make a sharp wooden stake?"

Creed: (Opens desk drawer) "What size?"

Re: funniest line ever…

This past season finale, when Creed was promoting his blog:

Creed: 'www.creedthoughts.gov.www\creedthoughtscheck it out'

Ryan: 'Last year Creed asked me how to setup a blog. Wanting to protect the world from being exposed to Creeds brain I opened up a Word document on his computer and put an address at the top. Ive read some of it. Even for the internet its pretty shocking'

Re: funniest line ever…

best two by far

Dwight: do you know what this is
Creed: that is northern lights cannabis indica
Dwight: no its marijiana

Creed: im in charge of quality management which means i have to go to the paper mill four hours once a week and the one year i blow it off this happens

and third best
Creed: this job is the only thing that makes me different from a homeless man i will do anything to survive. like i did when i was a homeless man

Re: funniest line ever…

i like in "take your daughter to work day" when michael is showing the kids around and he says

michael: this is creedand he is in charge ofsomething
creed: that is correct.

I love how he says it so matter-of-factlyit kills me. also

oscar: hey where's dwight?
creed: decapitated. you didn't hear? we had a funeral for a bird
jim: yeahpretty sure none of that's real
creed: YOU'RE NOT REAL, MAN!

creed is possibly my favorite character (other than dwight)

Re: funniest line ever…

The oscar, creed, and jim one is my all time favorite creed moment. The beauty of his character is timing. I think if there was more of him it would be great but it would take away from the greatness of his timing. He's my favorite from the office that isn't a main role. But like i said brilliant timing, especially the whole your not real man!

Re: funniest line ever…

oscar: hey where's dwight?
creed: decapitated. you didn't hear? we had a funeral for a bird
jim: yeahpretty sure none of that's real
creed: YOU'RE NOT REAL, MAN!

WHERE IS THAT FROM!!!????????????

You're the man now, dog -Sean Connery

Re: funniest line ever…

Actually, I believe Anthony Hopkins said "You're the man now dog."

Re: funniest line ever…

Re: funniest line ever…

It was Sean Connery

Re: funniest line ever…

But when Ed Helms's Andy character says the "You're the man now, dog" line to Michael, he says, "Anthony hopkins. Give me another"
