I thought it was hilarious as well. Lol IMDB is just the hater land and generally it seems most people complain. I went into this movie as "something to do on a Friday night" expecting to have already seen the funny parts just in the previews. I was way wrong and pleasantly surprised. Laughed from start to finish as did everyone in our theatre, which was almost full.
I think it's funnier than 22 Jump Street as well as Sex Tape and I give it the edge over Neighbors as the best comedy of the year (and summer for sure) so far.

Agreed it was hilarious, not the best movie of 2014, not even close, but it made me laugh so much. Gave it 7 out of 10.

Totally agree, not the best film i've ever seen but definitely on of the most entertaining.
I was in tears with laughter at the end, Backstreet Boys and the street-racing clip :D

I'm really surprised reading IMDB. Everybody in the theater, myself included, were laughing their asses off like every five minutes. Must really suck not liking this movie, I loved it.

I never felt bored in the entire movie and that's kinda hard these days, it reminded me of Blue Streak with Martin Lawrence when he pretended to be a cop to get a diamond, i could watch it many times and never get bored.

I didnt get super laugh out loud moments, but I enjoyed it, the big fat guy with his penis shoved in his face was pretty funny though, it was a fun ride for sure.

Ya justin I understand what your saying. Its dry as hell at times, which didnt require laugh out loud moments, but it would still deliver. I honestly couldent stop laughing. I hope these writers make another film.

I fly sometimes on 6-12 hour flights where movies are available for free. This is the first one that I laughed out loud, for real, on a flight. One that was a red eye and I was tired. It is was not once or twice outloud. I did not want the movie to end and I smiled alot. With a smile and satisfaction at the end - time to sleep.

It is very hilarious, one of the best comedies of the year. I also liked the shift in the last third. It made sense and it should have gotten darker.

Agreed. The movie, Let's Be Cops, was funny, stupid (in a good way) and brilliant. At least a 7/10 - maybe an 8/10 for what it is - a good time! :P

The fight scene with the two girls had me in tears as well as the break in at the hardware store with the naked fat guy. Not a classic, but funny enough to be worth the time.

What's with this movie and the hardened fronts "hilarious" and "awful".
As with all comedies, it is highly subjective. I myself hated the movie for the first 30 minutes or so and found it very unfunny (all the jokes and dialogues fell flat IMO) and unoriginal.
It got slightly better once the actual story got going but overall I think it was a below average comedy.

Embarrassingly funny. Also, more serious than I though it would be from the previews (not sure serious is the right word, deeper and more involved script maybe?) Loved Jake Johnson, guy cracked me up with his commitment to the cause - saw the ending coming for him at least. As a bonus, the pseudo dupsteb gave a great feel to it. Just wish I could find a full rundown of the soundtrack that wasn't so time consuming to sift through.

Reviews? But there is anyone who actually didn't like it? I laugh like a crazy man, the white man smile was just great. I will watch it again! This movie have everything: losers, cops, violence, internment, funny, hot girls, scary bad guy, fighting, muscles, weed, speeding, great cars. What can a man want more?

I had terrible expectations for this movie, but when I finally saw it, WOW, I laughed my ass off the entire time! I have a criminal justice degree, and Jake Johnson really Nailed the police imitations! Just the way he does the body movement, facial expression, and barking all the police lingo, just brilliant! Damon Wayans Jr. had me ballin up by the end of the movie! When he did meth and was having hallucinations, twitching and his facial expressions, hilarious! I must have watched this movie 10 times over with my buddiesit's really that good!
