Logs? When I think of "logs" and water, I don't think of swimming. What kind of "logs" are you talking about, Christina?

What is "froggy paddle"?

"Rip tide"? And swimming? If you get caught in a rip tide, you may not have the chance to do much swimming as you're getting sucked beneath the water.

What do hot tubs or water slides have to do with swimming?


My favourite is the breaststroke, sidestroke, swimming under water, and diving.

The froggy style of swimming I think I swim like a frog with my arms..

I mean like the thing where a bunch of fat ladies stand in a current of water that tapers into a pool allowing standing depth.

Hot tubs and water slides are recreation for people in the water in the heat.

None of those are "swimming skills" though, and from the sounds of it, what you're calling "froggy style" still sounds like "doggy paddle up front" but with your legs doing what they'd be doing while you do the breast stroke.

A "bunch of fat ladies" standing in a current of water? Why do they have to be fat to be standing in a current of water? Not sure what that has to do with anything, much less swimming skills.

They let me go in the pool at 2 so I said to stop sending me to swim lessons in Miami. My teacher was Latino.

I could doggy paddle, and most people have great troubles. I cannot tred water, but most girls with older moms born around 1953 maybe can. It's disgusting.. I am so good at the doggy paddle, "it's mother's milk to me" and comes so naturally to me physically. Of course, I took swimming lessons. I was happy to jump off the diving board. In gymnastics classes as a kid, I started at 1 3/4, I was not afraid to do a cartwheel off a clip into a foam pit.

I could swim, mostly did it myself after I'd taken semi-private lessons.

Anyway, my secret is I can't do laps because I can't, like, breathe or I choke after I come up for air and then plunge back under.

So, I used to go to the pool for an hour or 2 or 3 in the apartments when I was a young kid.

Now, I love sorta hanging out and keep froggy paddling underwater, with goggles.

I don't think I ever floated on my back but know how and that it is big in swimming lessons for no reason. You have to let go.

I wanted to go to water parks since 2005.

I chaperoned my younger brother's 8th grade field trip before high school, after 1 year of college in music. I went on the black tube slide, which was scarier than the others. I love the lazy river.


My last beach trip living in East Coast Florida I wanted to start wearing beach shoes, which evades the weeds or whatever. I like bikinis, but I don't wear "thongs" etc.

I lived in South East, North East, South East, and North East (Coast) Florida from conception down the road from the beach until I turned 12, after 1 year of junior high. My dad's bank was merging, the big bank of Florida, Barnett Bank, which is why we "moved a lot."

I moved to the New Orleans area, and I never bikini'd at the beach and I don't like taking long romantic walks along the beach at night, which is everybody's dream. I liked old-fashioned things, and I can do the 90s move, but that is all I am. I wear sunblock, so I'm not that tanned now.
