NCIS : NEVER COUNT OUT NCIS!!!

There are lots of people who all say the show is over, tired, needs to end blah, blah blah. The great thing about NCIS is they let it adapt like life. People leave us either through death, family or other opportunities. If you don't adapt and bring in different people, you won't grow. The new team will gel once they become family through going through. You don't have to keep watching if you don't like it that much but that's the sweet part about the show. They may solve crimes as their day job, but when all the bagging and tagging for the day is finished, they're all there for each other because they're family. Another reason for me watching the show besides just being a fan is this was one of my moms favorite shows before she died in 2011 of uterine cancer. I love the fact that I'm watching one of the last shows she ever enjoyed. It still feels like we watch together. I know NCIS will end one day but, I don't want that to be anytime soon.

Here's my cancer-led-me-to-NCIS story: I'd never watched any of the "alphabet shows" until Oct. 2014 when my 91-yr old father was diagnosed with bone cancer and was "coerced" to stay with me until we could get NAs lined up to stay with him at his home. He watched a lot of tv, mainly the local CBS stationand NCIS was one of his faves. I'd sit with him, often having to help him keep up since he was prone to dozing off. By the time he returned to his home, I was hooked on NCIS. By now I guess I've seen most of the episodes through watching USA marathons. And have learned a lot through reading this board.

I so agree mne202001. I love the show now more than ever because they do change and adapt and therefore keep growing.
