Have you ever cooked with saffron?

Too expensive. Actually, I'm not sure I'd know what it actually tastes like.

It has a unique taste, kind of hard to describe - floral/herbal is about the best I can come up with. If you ever visit a restaurant that serves Indian cuisine, you can try it by ordering saffron rice, which is very good.

I'm not a fan of Indian food, generally speaking. That's probably why I'm not especially familiar with the taste.
