The only people I know who hate cops are druggies and criminals.

I worked in the prison system in psych for ten years and the types of people cops have to put up with are scum. There's lots of criminals who can't wait to harm or kill a cop just to do it.

Typically, the only types of people who get harassed by cops are people who look like criminals, typically. If you're clean cut, dressed for work, etc cops aren't going to be rolling up on you will pepper spray lol. If you look like you're part of the drug subculture you will attack cops.

If we don't have cops or they stop wanting to do their job, the backlash will be far worse than what we have now.

what if i look like i'm part of the "drug subculture" but have nothing to do with said culture nor have i ever laid hands on any drug whatsoever in my entire life, my clothes just look poor and old bc i'm poor?

also, people who take drugs, even hardcore drug addicts (opiate addicts especially), don't have to be part of said "drug subculture" nor don't they have to look like they're part of said subculture, if u look at all those people who got hardcore addicted to that legally prescribed and purchased opiate oxycontine in the USA during the opiate crisis. hardcore addicts in all social classes, blue collar, middle class, higher classes, who never touched a drug before in their lives, were loving parents and grandparents, now hooked on opiates bc some pharmacy industry made good money in getting the entire population of counties and cities hooked on the oxy medication, and addicted for life and many of them would later, after oxy wasnt available to them anymore switch to street opiates, such as dirty cuts of heroin, morphine and fentanyl, what about all these once law-abiding citizens, now thrown into a life they never wanted to live, by greedy Capitalist industries who made the big bucks out of the misery of all those addicts? what about them?

It's not about the drugs, it's about the subculture.

All the druggies I know are petty criminals and rapists. Any girl I've known involved with drug has like fifty rape stories.

I know of people who were overdosing and got kicked out of moving cars by their "drug buddies" and people left to freeze to death.

These same people abuse and abandon children a lot.

I know this from working with drug addicts and in the drug parts of town. Cops are even more involved than someone like me.

So, it makes perfect sense to hate these people if you take a legal perspective. If you take a psychology perspective, these people are mentally ill sociopaths.

They have nothing to do with people addicted to drugs due to medical reasons, and so on.

Where I live, you're allowed to carry a rifle in public.

So, if I decided to dress like a Max Max character with a gun on my back, I should assume cops wouldn't take notice? That's naive.

This black guy in Colorado decided to do something like that for fun and ended up getting killed by cops.

We live in a violent and perverse world and you can't expect to fool around with police.

The cop/soldier worship seems to be turning into the right direction. They will either be more defensive because they know THEY'RE being watched, or they'll be more sneaky.

When you need the cops, they never help. When you don't want them around, they're right behind your ass.
