Film Art and Cinematography : "The contagious visual blandness of Netflix"
Re: "The contagious visual blandness of Netflix"
The top image has more actors cast which means more cost to produce. If that is common among most Netflix productions then that could explain the more lifeless feel.

Those are extras, they pay them in ham sandwiches.
Re: "The contagious visual blandness of Netflix"
I rarely ever watch Netflix now because the quality of what's available is just terrible and every show feels the same with the same bs agendas behind them. Only thing I can think that's worse is what Disney has become, especially the man-hating Marvel line whereby they are casually pushing men out of the way to cram in a bunch of foreigners, women, and ****** types so they can show how woke they are.
I accept your complete surrender. Now bend and kiss the ring while I remove your head, you won't be needing that where you're going next.

Replacing iconic characters with second-rate knock-offs doesn't sound like a good idea.

Well the alien's eyes cannot see the visual spectrum that the human eye can see. Netflix is viral and is from the internet so it's connected to their alien DNA. So there's no need to display vivid colors or more colors since the alien eye cannot see it. And they control Netflix.

It's about how everything has the same bland look now. She blames Netflix and their demand that every show have the same technical specs. She compares an older movie to a newer one:
The bottom image is quite a bit larger in dimensions than the top but hardly larger in file size. That's not surprising since the top image appears much more complex than the bottom. So I wonder if Netflix insists on that bland visual style because it improves streaming quality.
