What do you think changed? Are you just feeling less negative overall? A lot of guys who get that misogynistic rhetoric stuck in their head can't break out of it.

I used to live with a friend who had similar views and experiences. I guess our bitterness was symbiotic. A girl I've been talking to since 2020 has had some impact on me too, even if it won't lead to anything intimate.

A change in diet, more exercise and some self-reflection has also probably helped.

I'm still behaving in ways in which I shouldn't when it comes to my interactions with women. Nothing too bad, but I'm fairly certain I'm a manipulative person. Still trying to work that out.

I'm still a negative person who is trying to be less so.

Good for you. Even when a woman challenges the negative views on women, there can be a tendency to sabotage things and try to fit her back in that box. I know we have never really interacted but I've enjoyed your posts, and glad you're feeling better.
