Fashion : Question for the ladies (I think)

Would you wear something near your face, that makes you look drab, blah and washed out, if it were your favorite color in the whole wide world and just seeing it made you happy?

I might need to get giraffe face paint

Yep… I own lots of pale pink stuff, even though I shouldn't wear that color.

Thank you. Oh, I went thru a brief pale pink phase a while back. Absolutely ghastly color on me! (Found bright pastel works best, cos fuchsia enters the room before i do!)

It looks so bad on me. I look ill! But I just love the color

I know the feeling! What are we to do?! I bought a coat that I can't even describe the green, total wash out city! I am so envious of Autumns. They can wear all the warm colors I love.

Maybe try the pink as a scarf in your hair, at back, if it's long? Or maybe buy a scarf a flattering color for you, and wear it with a pale pink blouse? I once had a long flowing pale pink skirt. That was better. But just seeing the color now revolts me, as in 'what was i thinking'?! For ages, I wore only black.
