Justin Kirk : He bugs me.

He wasnt nominated for Angels in America cause he wasnt that good in it. Prior Walter is an amazing part for any actor but he came across as flat. I think he is annoying.

Wow! I couldn't disagree with you more. I thought his Prior was right on target. I cannot imagine anyone else in the role. He went from victim to hero in such a believable fashion. I truly thought he was amazing!

JK and his portrayal of Prior was in no way bugging as far as I'm concerned. He's such an underrated actor, deserves far more praise. I just saw Ask the Dust a few days ago on a plane flight home, terrible movie, but JK was terrific. It was a shame he didn't feature more though, it was too minor a part for him.

well what do you think is annoying about him? Because pretty much no one is going to agree with you until you justify yourself. I thought Kirk's portrayal as Prior Walter was flawless

"Among its seven Golden Globe nominations were mentions for all its principal cast members (a most unusual occurrence) with the sole exception of Justin Kirk. The reason for his omission was that he was originally put forward for a Supporting Actor nomination, until it was realized that he actually has more screen time than most of his co-stars. However, by switching to the Best Actor category, he was effectively canceled out as he lost the votes he had previously amassed in the supporting category."

This, according to IMDB's trivia on Angels in America, is the real reason why he wasn't nominated. As far as I am concerned 2000he was the best person in the movie.

Anyone not for Justin will be in the minority on this board! He is amazing, and I am lucky enough to have seen him live on the stage, last summer, and he rocked!

You say he wasn't nominated. What planet have you been on? Of course he was nomintated for an emmy! His co-star, Jeffrey Wright, who was a more flamboyant character, won. He was absolutely brilliant in his role of Prior. He acted with Meryl Streep and more than held his own. I would have to say he is one of the greatest actors alive right now. Every role, he's so good. I can't fathom why he would bug you.

He perfected Prior.just wonderful! That cast was TOP NOTCH!
