Angela Mao : This woman is incredible!

This woman is incredible!

I just saw Wu Quan (dance of death) on DVD and was amazed at the physical abilities of this martial artist.....such a fluid freestyle that far surpasses the silliness of some psuedo female martial artists in cinema today that benefit from digital effects and clever editing. She is truly the real deal and kept me entranced through a rather choppy film.
I hope she can make a bit of a comeback now and enjoy the financial windfall available since martial arts films have become once again popular. If only out of respect for her previous contributions to asian cinema.

Re: This woman is incredible!

Saw her in the also meh "Snake Deadly Act". She's so stylish and I love that she's a pioneer for female martial artists and all. I also would love to see her come back in something else. Even in her mid-50's, I bet she's still amazing.

Re: This woman is incredible!

I just saw the lovely Angela Mao in the immensely enjoyable martial arts romp "Return of the Tiger;" she beats the living tar out of a whole bunch of guys in this flick. She was likewise impressive and memorable as Bruce Lee's ill-fated sister in "Enter the Dragon."

Angela Mao is one of the all-time greatest martial arts film stars!

Re: This woman is incredible!

I just saw Hapkido (1972). Some serious butt-kicking in that one.

Hapkido is great! I like the part where he kills a man with an umbrella.
