I tried to a long time ago. I feel too much. No use denying it. Better to be aware of it so I can manage it.
Could be that I'm undiagnosed bipolar. I go through periods of feeling invincible like nothing on here cam fuck with me. Allbthat confidence in the last months was real. I did not give a kernel of shit. I was purposefully trying to goad Hungry into visiting me because the risk excited me. Then shit started going downhill and shit here bothered me.

I've tried to see it that way, but I don't get how a different, more technologically advanced form of communication makes that connection any less real.
It was reinforced when I started meeting both friends and partners I met online in person. I always thought we'd be like different. Like it would feel like meeting a stranger, but nothing really changed.
Of course with romantic and sexual interests, it can't be maintained online alone. There are physical needs that need to be met at least on some level, but friendship, I feel can lack that. There are in person friends I don't hug or touch, but they're not inferior friends. And as far as nonverbal communication goes, I suck at that anyway.
