No one's too old to play music as a hobby.
Professionally? For something like violin or whatever you really need to have started probably no later than 7 or 8 years old.

It's literally a battle between good and evil, good being Early Baby Boomers and their "faithful subjects" and bad being Late Baby Boomers and their rebellious "minions" who won't comply with older generations like Early Baby Boomers included.
