My greatest regret about the finale of GOT was that King Snow didn't restore the Targaryen dynasty and that freak was "elected" king instead. Banishment to the Wall for the Prince That was Promised is preposterous. Instead of killing Daenerys he should have kept her locked in the dungeons popping out little inbred Targaryen babies and putting his house back on top.

Given how drastically they changed Dany’s character they could easily have depicted Jon snow as power hungry, taking the throne and imprisoning the blonde queen on the grounds she is a usurper.

I suspect this series is intended to right GOT s8.
We never saw what happened with Daenerys’ body. Given Jon Snow resurrected and the overall increased propensity for magic, they could write her back into the story, resurrected.
Nobody wants Bran to be king. He’s weird. Jon is the rightful heir anyways. He will return and have to take the throne or at least wage a campaign against the returned Khaleesi.
Resurrect the Khaleesi and you can close out that story better
Certainly won't watch a series with wet-eye Jon Snow.
Daenerys was a good Queen and didn't do anything else than Alexander the Great did.
Except that none of Alexander's friends got executed in front of him before he invaded the cities.
He's called 'great' for it, she's called 'mad' for it. ☻
