The Walking Dead : Why is this not convincing?

I'm not doing this to poke fun at her. I'm fascinated, as someone who has studied troll posts for years, with what constitutes good trolling. Rocket started me on this by pointing out that nobody buys the image Anna wants to project, of her sitting around, sipping at her tea, incredibly amused. What's amiss with the post, I will submit, is the obvious rage behind it. Even inferior trolls like Boreson are too canny to reveal the anger too obviously. The takeaway from this is: the good troll may be angry, but the anger is sublimated into insults that amuse and stick. Timing is also important.

Here endeth the lesson.

I wasn't around for Ben's glory years, but from the little I saw, the guy was very good. He had a genuine sense of humour, and a lot of malice. I heard he was a consummate doxxer.

Persistence while using millions of accounts to flood the board was something his strategy relied on. He often would attack someone nonstop until they blocked him, which was kind of a win in his eyes.

He also had the vocabulary to formulate some decent material/insults, despite how English isn’t his main language. I also noticed Ben had a way of figuring out what people’s weak points are, and he would be ruthless with his punches aimed to them.

Edit: He didn’t have much in terms of charisma though.

I ended up rather liking him. He seemed to think TWD board was interesting, and said a lot of complimentary things about us. Of course, that may just have been him in retirement. I didn't encounter him when he was in full flow.
