The Watercooler : Fave podcasts?

Fave podcasts?

My very favourite right now is Smartless, with Justin Bateman, Will Arnett and Jack from 'Will and Grace', all good friends. They interview one guest an episode. It's pretty funny.

Re: Fave podcasts?

Old as the hills but the Ricky Gervais podcasts with Karl pilkington will never be defeated

It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie
Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me

Re: Fave podcasts?

That is funny, I am just about to listen to Ricky Gervais as the guest on Smartless.

Re: Fave podcasts?

Have you listened to the Louis Theroux podcasts?

It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie
Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me

Re: Fave podcasts?

No! You recommend?

I was a great admirer of his relative, the great travel writer Paul Theroux. And in asmall world kind of way, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett talk often of their good friend Justin Theroux, Louis' cousin.

Re: Fave podcasts?

I fucking love all of Louis theroux's work, man. He's a genius. He's the perfect faux-naïf troll.

And Justin Theroux is a great actor - the leftovers is one of the best shows ever

It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie
Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me

Re: Fave podcasts?

Fat Mic's Fat Mike. The singer of NOFX. I love when he had Wil Wheaton on and the one with Punk Rock MBA where they play and commentate on their favorite hardcore songs. Their tastes are so different.
I love Ear Biscuits, the guys who do Good Mythical Morning. I have a love hate thing with all the h3 podcasts. Sometimes theyvtalk about shi bI don't care about, and Ethan sometimes has bad takes.

I used to listen to Goosebudd, but fell off for some reason. There are likely more I'm forgetting.

Re: Fave podcasts?

What's Goosebudd about?

Re: Fave podcasts?

Typo. I meant Goosebuds. It's podcast where friend discuss Goosebumps books.

Re: Fave podcasts?

I love the Rancid cover of this too. That whole split album was one of the better ones.

They were both gateway bands for me.

Re: Fave podcasts?

We're going totally off at a tangent here, but listen to this Frank Turner tune (wait for the drop)

Re: Fave podcasts?

I'm already familiar. I like him, but not as much as most people who like punk, folk, and folk punk.

Re: Fave podcasts?

What did you think of his side project with Tim Armstrong back in the day?

Re: Fave podcasts?

Lmao I was honestly listening to the cover album they made yesterday

Re: Fave podcasts?

Surprised punk rap never took off as a genre. All the ingredients are there. Beastie Boys had a punk background. This band gained some popularity, but nah. Though I do think it had an influence on the emo rap of today. I can't get into it though. Finn, the Punk Rock MBA always talks about how interesting the genre is, but to me, it's kinda dumb.
