Who should go? They're both awful people (Kirk attacks women who reject him–which is to say he attacks women), and Rittenhouse writes awful prose and tries to sound like an intellectual (he also cyber-rapes women, but this is a message-board, so how else can the poor sod get any action?)

Pope Stephen VI had Formosus' body exhumed, sat in the Pope's throne, and began throwing accusations at the corpse. An elected church member was designated as the "dead Pope's voice," leaning in and "listening" to the corpse's "responses," before repeating them to the court.

As to be expected, Formosus was found guilty, stripped of his Papacy, and had his corpse unceremoniously tossed in the Tiber river. This trial kicked off the longest era of corruption within the Papacy, known as "the Pornocracy" (seriously).

I wasn't thinking that far ahead, I admit! That is hilarious stuff. btw, I visited Florence in (about) 2015, and I was delighted to hear that the Florentine authorities had just lifted the ban on Dante in about 2007! Dante was banned from entering Florence sometime in the 12th century, and they didn't bother to lift the ban till 2007. Gotta love those vengeful Italians!
