It's exactly what I was, then I just wasn't anymore even though I looked just as good as an adult as a teenager and a child irl. Makes no sense.

Canon and Panasonic AVCHD camcorders, $10 each at a thrift store. They record on SD cards at 1080p, so not completely obsolete. Had to buy special charging cables for them online, but they charge from USB so don't need special charging bricks like my old MiniDV camcorders. The Panasonic is in mint condition but has entry level features. The Canon has mic and headphone jacks, audio level display, dual card slots but is well-used, with a weak battery, and intermittent charging conector which I can hopefully repair.
The zoom lenses are more powerful than most digicams, but you need a tripod or rest at high zoom levels.
