As I recall being taught, Jesus died on the cross to save us Christians.
Jesus rose from the dead, three days later on Easter.

Instead of killing others, we have to ask ourselves would we do the same for ourselves? Like sending our boys to the Ukraine? rather than reinforcing the strength of our Coast Guard? When we have something to offer is a different story. It is dangerous to speak ill of the Russians AND their war on the Ukraine, fearing the Ukraine would attack them for whatever reason.

Organized religion has been the leading cause of many wars. Christians in particular have shed a lot of blood throughout history. Would Jesus approve of the wars carried out in God's name? I doubt it.
