How long do you think it would take . . .

to watch every film, short, cartoon, TV show and whatever else he's been in that's been recorded in some way? Months, probably. I wonder how much of his body of work still exists. Some of the earliest stuff is probably gone.

Thinking of his career tonight, the night he died, I was wondering the same thing. If everything he ever did in show business could be experienced, it'd take the better part of a lifetime to enjoy it 1c84 all! Or so it seems. I was impressed with him even when I was a kid watching him turn up in so many of the TV shows I watched in the fifties. Then by the seventies, I was growing more aware of the scope of his career. In the decades since, I've become more and more in awe of him. Nobody will ever match that career. And on talk shows, he always gave me the impression that he'd be friendly and approachable.
