Why is he listed for being in films after he was said to have died...? I'd love to know...

Well, they were made while he was alive, but not released til he had died.

The clip that they used in "The Great Mouse Detective" is NOT from a radio show, but from a reading of the Sherlock Holmes story- The Red-Headed League, which Rathbone did in the early 1960's. Being somewhat of a Sherlockian, I know the line from REDH, by Holmes' wishing to be "Introspective."

Also, IMDB will list you no matter how you appear. For example, if characters are watching TV and an actor appears on the screen, guess what? He is now listed as being in that film. Just kind of makes it more fun.
