The Blacklist : Mr. Kaplin

Mr. Kaplin

Are they going to bring "Mr Kaplin" back. Her character seems to have disappeared after she left that cabin in the mountains.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

So she wasn't on tonight either? She's the only interesting character on the entire show practically!

Re: Mr. Kaplin

@ha: I agree. Maybe she will return later in the season.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I think she's behind all the stuff that's happening to him now

Re: Mr. Kaplin

When Red had Isabella tied up in the freezer, I had wondered if he's trying to get more info out or her.

She's not working alone.

I still don't understand who she is other than trying to ruin Red's businesses by killing his associates.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

Somebody paid her to attack Red

Re: Mr. Kaplin

Yep, that's what all this stuff is probably leading up to, Mr. Kaplan pulling all the strings to go after Red.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

Hell hath no fury like Kaplan scorned.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I hope not. I don't think she'd agree to kill Corina like this.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

Then maybe someone has captured Mr. Kaplan, and is forcing her to help them take down Red. And everyone that is killed is meant to hurt Red, hurt his friends and allies.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

That is not a nice scenario. Mr Kaplan suffered enough

Re: Mr. Kaplin

This is what I was thinking in that red's cleaner is after red.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I agree with you, maybe she wants revenge, but not at any cost. She wouldn't choose for so much collateral damage.
I think it is Jennifer, a character/loose-end which was planted in season 2, and never mentioned again. In the conversation Naomi and Red had about her, she said something like: she knew that one day you'd be coming for her. That doesn't sound like a warm family relationship. Also Kirk said at the first moment they spoke (through the mirror window), when Red asked Liz if she was fine: I wouldn't hurt my daughter like you did.
I am telling you Jennifer is the one out on revenge.
May be she was also in the fire and was injured, burned. She has to live with the scars, grows up being damaged, blaming Red

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I couldn't agree more. There is an entire network that is working to bring Red down. Think about it. NO ONE would have the kind of knowledge of his network to the degree that Mr. Kaplan has. The fact that she walked off- we know she is alive. She would likely be in contact with another group of people she trusts- (that she also likely used when she helped Liz fake her death.)

Also- the groundwork for the Christopher Hargrave disappearance is coming to a surface, and we know Tom is not long for this show- as he is off to the spinoff. I wonder if we might discover that he is also working as an operative to Mr. Kaplan??

Remember- Tom & Mr. Kaplan worked together to fake Liz's death. Tom likely knew and talked to Mr. Kaplan when he was babysitting Agnes that Red would likely off her once he found out. Tom has a true disdain for Red, and he would likely be a key player to relay information back and forth to Mr. Kaplan.

Do you also think Tom might be involved with Kaplan on this take down of Reddington???

Re: Mr. Kaplin

Like I said before, I don't think Mr Kaplan would take revenge at any cost, she wouldn't agree with the collateral damage.
Besides that, that would mean, at the end only one will survive:Red or Mr. Kaplan. Call me a dreamer, but I still have hope they reconcile

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I do too! I can't see her doing anything of the sorts. She knew she betrayed him, but still held her ground believing in what she did (fake Liz's death). I can't see her going out for revenge when she knew it was possible, if not certain, how Red would handle the truth.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

I thought it had been all but confirmed Mr. Kaplan was behind it all.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

@dra: Hmm. Maybe.

Re: Mr. Kaplin

What am I missing ..MR Kaplan? Kaplan was the woman cleaner left to die in the woods. Why is everyone posting on this site referring her as MR? WHAAAAAT
