We are in the middle of a pandemic so it isn't quite fair to compare now to the 90s. Humans work best during difficult times so the future will be much brighter.

Unfortunately…not in the USA. We bicker and whine and generally make fools of ourselves.

I don't know about the rest of the world but I myself live in the United States and My own Answer is "Yes" when it comes to here.
Because of Donald Trump and his BS, My country went through 4 years of pure chaos which Trump and his supporters always Always ALWAYS blamed on all of the people who were against him when in reality, Trump himself was indeed responsible for a majority of the pure chaos that took place here in the U.S. in those 4 years that he was President.
Having said that….Even though we still do have problems here (besides the virus), I think that my country is still a lot better now that Trump is no longer President.
