They were poppy but fun, especially if one grew up in the late 70's and were young. They still had their detractors then of all age groups, but I find them utterly beguiling.

Apparently those lovely ladies were obsessed with Poo. They dedicated a song to him. The dude sitting on the right looks like Paul Williams big brother. Who in turn, looks like cousin Oliver from The Brady Bunch. The 70's, lol :)

Actually no, I didn’t. I just looked it up, and it appears that he was in the Battle for the Planet of the Apes. I’ll have to check it out. I just remember that it seemed like he was everywhere when I was a kid. Always making guest appearances on the top shows of the day.

I was looking at some of his song writing credentials. I see that he wrote some pretty big hits for some pretty big artists, as well as films. Songs that I assumed were produced by the artists themselves. Glad to see he’s still going strong at 81 (In a few days)

Each of their songs represent something different. It's usually political though. Fernando has significant meaning when I stare up at the stars shinning in the night sky on the beach on the 4th of July.
