Keith Carradine : Sexy?

I saw 'Keeping the Promise' back in 5th gradeand I honestly thought he was sexy. And now seeing him in 'Complete Savages' I think he is sexier than ever. Anyone agree?

YES - Keith is very sexy .. and to both genders. The gays like him for his soft "blondish" unconfrontational personality and us women like him for more obvious reasons. He wears his sexuality externally as well as interally. He's so full of sex that it runs over like a cup that's been filled too full. The thing is, he loves ALL women! You can tell that he wants every single woman in the world and would treat her like a queen, at least for one night. This guy is a charming cad. He is not to be trusted. Oh gosh, this guy taught the world what being sexy really means! And not only sexy, but stunningly beautiful!

He hardly seems to make it to Dutch TV-channels, thoughapparently, the Savages run on German television now, but all the voices are synchronised, and even though I have a degree in German literature, I just could not stand the idea of seeing this beautiful creature talking GERMAN gibberish!!!

How did I discover him? A long, long time ago, I saw Southern Comfort on Dutch TV (= original language and subtitles), fell in love with the mai238n character because of his sweet efforts to speak French (which did not work out because the Cajuns did not understand him) and the beautiful blond hair.

Many a sorry night did I have in front of my PC screen, performing a Google cavity search for every available picture, when I discovered that Keith had a moustache or a beard grown on several occasions, which is perfectly OK since it matches the roles he usually plays, but I still think a redneck moustache looks really silly on him. Thank goodness he now seems to roam about with no unnecessary facial hb68air, I do hope he will stick to that.

And I hope the others will agree that Keith is looking far more handsome in his fifties than a couple of decades ago. The very best picture I found is the one that shows him in a white linen suit in a scene in "The Diamond of Jeru". Have you ever seen a man with such a beautiful, pink complexion?

Slightly off topic:
Wat colour are Keiths eyes? Quite lame that I still have not found out. Supposedly brown, but since he is blond, that would seem very odd. Or I might need another couple of glasses :-)

His eyes are hazel. According to a Dexter episode, his right eye is darker than his left! And after seeing him in Dexter he is gorgeous. A man his age that looks that fine is sexy.

This guy's done more nudity than any actor in the world. He's naked in almost everything he ever done. It's his natural state. Check out the bath tub scene in An Almost Perfect Affair. He's a straight up natural blonde alright.. ya see where her eyes went? That's because the bastard was always hard. He's old now so I wouldn't expect too much without a little help from the medicine chest. I suspect that's why he got married!

he was beautiful in Nashville and in Thieves Like Us too and in the Alan Rudolph films like Choose Me and The Moderns. He was very thin and boney in Rudolph's first film from 1977 Welcome To LA and he didn't know how to on-screen kiss. He was very very awkward. Keith realized that (for sure) and really worked on hulking up and becoming good at on-screen romance. Watching one of those last scenes in Choose me with Keith and Lesley Anne Warren on the roof are unbelievably sexy. Also check out Ballad of the Sad Cafe where he plays a very sexy Marvin Macy to the stoic wonderfulness of Vanessa Redgrave as Miss Amelia. The film, made from the wonderfully Southern gothic Carson McCullers' short story, fails in so many ways but it was cast well.

Have you seen his Wild Bill Hickok in the Deadwood series? It was really wonderful. Fine work. He's a GREAT cowboy! He's a rather flat actor (in my opinion) but if he is in costume of a cowboy or can be more himself like he is as the American born painter in 1920s Paris you can't beat him. he has a natural feel for that non-confrontational arty type of fellow. He does so many cameos. Sometimes you'll see his name and get the film just because he's in it and then find that he's in it for about ten seconds. He's underused. He's always been underused. Frankly, I think he's a bit on the lazy side. I believe he does more stage work now than he ever did. Check out a movie called Out of the Cold. He plays a song and dance man in the middle of war. It's cast well and I enjoyed it. It's a period piece out of the 40s. And a new one coming out (for the past several years) called The Absinthe Drinkers. I haven't seen it. It might not be released in America Might not be released at all.. who knows. Glad I could be of some assistance
