Yeah, it was still not the amount of the Majority that was needed to convict him but a Majority is still a Majority and the Democrats can throw that in Donald Trump's face in 2024 when Trump runs again (and he is definitely running again, I will be stunned if he doesn't).

Meh. Bush was never impeached for lying us into a war that destroyed an entire country and cost thousands of innocent lives (over a million lives, according to Chomsky). Bush's crimes were far worse than anything Trump ever did, but Pelosi and the Dems decided not to pursue impeachment against him for the sake of "national unity" or some such bullshit. For the same reason then Trump shouldn't be impeached.

I'd make that second. First we need to nail down our next candidate. First approach Trump. Make it clear we are not going to back him because of his history but let him know he still has a part to play in sticking it to the dems who dissed him for years. He is to play the front man. Act like he is going to run. Get the dems all riled up. Make them spend themselves silly preparing to fight off another Trump presidency. Next we approach Shapiro and Gowdy. Convince one or both of them to run as President and Vice. At the last moment we pull the switch. Have Trump back the new candidates and explain the deception designed to put them off guard and drain their war chest. Then run a pair of bulletproof candidates straight into the Oval Office.

Shapiro did NOT back the impeachment he thought it was stupid both times. What his parents do for a living is irrelevant.
Gowdy much like Ben is sharp as a tac. Every time someone on the left challenged him he shut them down. Dead stop. I have been listening too. Shapiro praised Trump when he did well and castigated him when he fucked up, as it should be. He opposed both impeachments. I know, I listened to the podcasts. Also I am no ones fanboy. I respect intelligence and Shapiro is razor sharp. I've only every heard him fumble an interview once and that was with that BBC guy.
