Completely. I know you and I have spoken about this criminal before and how vile he is.
It makes me sick.

It would have been harder for them NOT to have caught Chris Watts, honestly. He may as well have been holding a neon sign announcing he did it.

When I watch the footage, agreed. His body language alone gave it away. I'm curious what his overall plan was that he intended to tell people regarding the disappearance of his entire family.

Initially, he told people that they had an argument and she must have left with the kids after he left for work. I think he hoped people would assume she either ran off to start a new life or she committed murder/suicide with the girls somewhere that their bodies wouldn't be found. I think he didn't count on his wife's very open conversations with her friend about the state of their marriage.
I read awhile back that people were saying Shannan drove him to it because she was such a nagging wife. I find that utterly disgusting. When I watched this documentary, they did show her expressing irritation with Chris, but what kind of person thinks that a someone should be murdered for that? Why not just get a divorce?
I can't remember if it was in the documentary or in an article I'd read afterward, but people have questioned the timeline of Chris' relationship with the girlfriend. Apparently, the police did an analysis of her computer history and foundshe had searched both Chris' and Shannan's names the previous year and spent a significant amount of time looking at Shannan's facebook page.

Yes, and the girlfriend also did searches of things about Scott Peterson's girlfriend. She wanted to know about popularity of the mistress. She wrote letters to Chris on company stationary saying she wanted what he had with Shanann, and yet claimed to the police she didn't know he was married with children.
Yet she changed her story about being at his house, twice. With the type of security system the Watts had in place, Shanann would have gotten alerts on her phone, camera visuals seeing the two of them at the front door and within the house, while she was away.
Shanann even stated she didn't think Chris wanted this 3rd baby.
What really, reeeaally pissed me off was Chris's parents. They loathed Shanann, didn't go to their son's wedding or the funeral of Shanann and their own granddaughters. The interviews, that bat was so condescending and snarky, wrinkling her nose about how much she couldn't stand Shanann. I wanted to reach through the TV and throttle the bitch. I'd imagine she's the type who, even though her son just murdered his pregnant wife and two little daughters, she still thinks the sun rises and sets on his ass.
I do think Nicole was stalking Shanann and had something going with Chris longer than what was stated as they worked together, so it might have been some interoffice flirtations, and she was stalking her prey and she was trying to gather information. This is another reason it creeps me out when people enjoy digging around, and another reason I don't do social media. It's just too invasive.

Omg who cares?
People care about script writing here. We don't actually care about all of these casual conversations you guys have.

I followed this case live, watching every YT update and news update as it was unfolding, everyone's unique take and breakdown including one YTer who broke down the shadows from the neighbour's surveillance camera to show his little daughters were alive as he loaded them into the truck that morning along with his wife's dead body.
Bless the best friend of Shanann who was so swift to act. I'm confident that it was her actions that brought justice.
I was always so startled that for a man who gets told his wife is missing, that he's on his phone texting and not calling people and being concerned. Even to an outsider, he doesn't look like a man worried about his "missing wife."
The length of his affair with his mistress was allegedly only several weeks. For that, he was willing to murder his entire family. If you've watched police interviews with Nicole (his mistress) they're also really disturbing how casual she is.
