I know she's some dumb pop singer and looks good. But still, that pic is so obviously photoshopped to look "perfect". She'd do better to just stop the enhancements and filtering and show her for her real self. She's a singer, and should rely on her work as an artist, not photoshopped pics of her butt.

I used to generally shame people that used Halloween as an excuse to dress provocatively. But then i had to think why.
Do i really care/think it's stupid? Does it make me uncomfortable because i wouldn't do that? Why wouldn't i do that? Is it really because i don't want attention? Or is it because wearing something sexy is like saying 'i think I'm sexy' and i don't want people to think that i think that, that's why i would be more comfortable wearing something that might be sexy but is also funny/self deprecating? So basically I'm just like them but less confident to do it blatantly. So now i just keep my mouth shut or tell them how fierce they look

I'm sorry they acted like that. At least they've stopped now. My family was pretty religious and strict, i think a lot of the reasons i feel awkward dressing in sexier clothes is just because of how bad they talked about "women like that". Family, man. And society! I'm done with the whole lot lol

Halloween should be about dressing up has monsters and goblins. I have a problem with girls especially teenagers using the Halloween day has an excuse to dress-up provocative or slutty. It's something I see everyday in NY..

They’re divorced for different reasons. It’s complicated but they have they’re own issues that didn’t work when together. My dad being emotionally unavailable and my mom being in a vulnerable and emotional state that was taken advantage of and didn’t get any emotional support which led to her being emotionally unstable. The marriage was already failing but when my dad also got another woman pregnant that ultimately led to the divorce being finalized. He did not tell any of us she was pregnant until she was already 5 months so it was very shocking and upsetting for everyone.

I sort of empathize with your mom about how she feels about her husband being emotionally unavailable towards his wife, and then him seeking comfort with another woman outside of the marriage and then fathering an illegitimate child with that other woman. Your mom probably felt embarrassed, ashamed, inadequate as a wife. She felt probably felt betrayed.
You take your dad's side without understanding how your mom felt.

You did not deserve that at all. We're human and it's normal to want to be sexual. Even if you were doing it because you weren't getting enough attention. I know you know that, it just breaks my heart!
It's nice that you know they were coming from a place of love but try not to feel guilty, you were trying to cope with things on your own since they weren't being supportive. Sometimes things look like self destructive behavior from the outside but you're actually doing some self exploring and therapy. It sounds like you went through some stuff but you talk like you've learned from it
