He identified major climate cycles at 100, 170, 515 and 1,030 years. Global temperatures have gone sideways since 1998.

The most recent high in temperatures was reached in 2007. Since then, it's been getting colder and drier as part of a 172 year cycle. A recent drop in solar activity is predicting a much colder and dryer period.

The head of the International Space Station, a Russian Astrophysicist, has predicted a mini ice age is on the way.

Morons like you are the reason are the reason why such ignorance is spread. Yes, most of us know that climate has always changed throughout our planet's history. It's not really about the temperatures themselves anymore.

It's more about how drastically the climate is unstable. It's about the Ozone layer which IS getting thinner. It's about the seasons which have all been messed in the last decade or so.

I never ever denied the fact that climate always changed and always will. That, I have no problem recognizing it. What I refused to do, is to simply trivialize the impact of human activity on the planet.

And yes, scientists tend to contradict themselves. The mistake to not make is to take everything one's says and take it at face value because there might be further studies which would prove him wrong.

I never was on the side of people who say that the situation is "very alarming", I always thought it was exaggerated. However, I don't think it would be responsible to simply deny everything that SCIENCE found so far because other studies showed otherwise. And studies tend to be taken out of context, so people have to be careful to go and read the whole articles.
