What I don't understand with sophie is the fact that she has amazing english despite being german. She is the only foreign person I have ever known (and my other half is swedish and still has trouble translating words) to use british terms that a foreigner wouln't even know. There's british terms that foreigners know, and there's ones that you would only know if you were actually british. Strange init.

I think we tend to forget that European countries tend to learn English from a young age (which is apparently the best time to learn) whereas we only learn other languages in high school which is whatever they decide to teach.
Loki speaks perfect English but it isn't her first language as does Russell Nash and Evariste, I also knew 3 Swedes on IMDb who spoke better English than some Brits!
