Brendan Fraser : AOL Build: ?

AOL Build: ?

Well done! It was so nice to sit by the fire this cold Seattle morning drinking my coffee ?? and watching Brendan live.

Re: AOL Build: ?

Caught it this morning on his (unofficial?) FB. I hope he continues to find new and interesting opportunities to shine. Also, one of the last questions he was asked gaged his interest in behind the scenes work on films/shows. He noted taking on a producer role might suit him well, but also said heading up the filming might be his forte. Brendan, I'd lean towards cinematographer (director of photography) for you over producer, as you have a good eye for visuals, and I think you could help clarify and/or tell an intended story, or even give one a certain look and feel.

Sidenote: I noticed he's a sloucher like me. I found myself sitting a little straighter during the interview.

Re: AOL Build: ?

I think he was slouching because of the microphone. Most studios use a lavelier attached to the guest's clothing.

So not only was he nervous, which he admitted to, he also had the awkwardness of holding a microphone for over 30 minutes.

I thought it was a good interview.

Re: AOL Build: ?

I thought he was slouching due to back pain. The way he was turning his whole body, and constantly shifting positions. To this nurse, it looks like how someone moves with chronic back and neck pain.

Re: AOL Build: ?

Bingo. 💐

All men have two faces. One they show to the world, the other to the woman they love.

Re: AOL Build: ?

Watching a Graham Norton interview from a few years back, Brendan blamed his poor posture on "Great Dane syndrome", as he called it. He feels tall, and sometimes arms and legs all akimbo, so he hunches down a bit, but on the other hand when he wants to use his body, he really goes for it (action as well as slapstick comedy). I'd say back in my teenage, growth spurt days, I could really relate to the "arms and legs all over the place" feeling. And I was learning how to dance at the time too. (yikes)

Making a shambles of IMDB, one post at a time.
