I completely agree. To a point. Young Dustin made some mighty early films with equally mighty acting in them. He had a run starting with The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, Little Big Man, Straw Dogs, Papillon, Lenny, All The President's Men and Marathon Man. This is happened in his first 10 years! This is the Dustin I remember with affection as I watched these growing up. Saying that he still made Kramer v Kramer, Tootsie and peaked with Rain Man. After that it doesn't matter because of what's gone before. Parts would obviously ac

You cannot compare him to De Niro, as he's completey shat all over his legacy with truly dreadful films (like 3 a year!) to pay off all his investments. De Niro has become a joke unlike Dustin or even Pacino.

I miss the old Dustin Hoffman
