I believe they love each other on that show even though the writers were making relationships for some characters that I didn't think should have been together. Like why were Shane and Andrea together? Lol Andrea was supposed to be with Dale.

yeah i feel like that Shane-Andrea coupling was really odd too. it looked like the douchiest jock in the group gets to get the hottest blonde and it was soooo cliché, like high school level drama i hated it
but then Michonne and Rick was really sth else. they touched my heart. i also loved Carol and Ezekiel.

I think the plot with Shane was that he was rebounding from Lori. But I'm like, why mess with Andrea. They couldn't write in some random runaway female for Shane to rescue and then hook up with? I know Andrea turned into a bad girl, and I'd forgotten the rest of Andrea's story while she was with Rick's group.
I didn't agree with Rick and Michonne. Rick was supposed to be with Andrea like in the comics. But other fans liked Rick and Michonne. I think? I'm not sure.
I stopped watching before Carol and Ezekiel hooked up. I wanted Carol and Morgan to be together. I don't even like that Ezekiel character.
