Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi : Double Bladed Lightsaber

I would love for Luke to combine his original lightsaber with his green lightsaber into a double bladed lightsaber.

Pretty sure if there is going to be any way they are going to bring in the double bladed lightsaber. Rey will be the one to possess it as it is very similar to her staff.

All of the most interesting concepts from TFA were cut from the film, and conceptual art can be found on the net of these things.

One of the really cool concepts, was a double blade with blue and red, that was to riff off a "fire and ice" motiff throughout the film.

Though, combining the green and blue into one could be an interesting story element too.
