The first Jedi was taught by a non-Jedi. And, as far as we know, Snoke is not a Jedi and is teaching Kylo Ren. Sith/Jedi.same thing in this discussionwere talking about high level force users.

You'd have a point if Yoda were anywhere close to the first Jedi. That being said the first astronauts were test pilots. They weren't trained to be astronauts because no one knew what that actually entailed. So they trained the best they way they knew and hoped that it was enough when they were in space.

No. In canon, Yoda's master was a human named Garro. He was followed by Qui-Gon Jinn as a force ghost. In the EU, his master was N'Kata Del Gormo (a male Hysalrian - a serpentine species).
Maz is not a Jedi, therefore she can't be Yoda's master.

The people who trained the first Astronauts were not Astronauts, just like Maz teaching Yoda. She is his Master and will be Rey's master, and will teach Luke to be a real master, and teach all the new Jedi to be Jedi's because she taught the first Jedi, which is Yoda.
