The Sequel Trilogy has turned Luke into a complete loser. He rebuilds the Jedi Order only for it to be to completely annihilated again, by his nephew and the "knights of ren" (whatever the fvck they are) and then goes into hiding for like, ten years, doing nothing while everybody is fighting. What is his monument? What is his legacy to pass on? He's been turned into a washout and a defeatist. Even the EU never did that.

Look at Yoda and Obi-Wan. Cutting and running seems to be in the Jedi playbook. Leah should have been desperate to find him just to slap his face for being a coward.

Luke isn't all that interesting to begin with and the OT has a *beep* endingso anything that undermines that is only good. I never found luke or the jedi to be anything but film destroying plot devices with no meaning

Well I definitely never wanted a Rey type of trilogy but that looks like what I'm going to get. I will be staying home when the next two Episodes come out and they'll receive no money from me. That's the only thing I can do because money is the only thing that speaks to these people. I loved Star Wars as a young kid but I don't need it now as an adult so I will do without.

If we are to believe that Plaguis taught Palpatine to create life using midi-chlorians, and Palpatine used that knowledge to creat Anakin that way, then the Skywalker line started there. In other words, AFTER the force was already in existence.
What part of that don't you understand?

The Force already existed before Anakin, and it will exist after the Skywalkers die out.

The Force didn't start with the Skywalkers and it won't end with them.
The Skywalkers (particularly Anakin) is someone who is reincarnated over time. Rey is Anakin reincarnated. She was also the first Jedi.
