Justice League : DC vs MARVEL in a nutshell:

So your saying that DC is doing the exact same thing Marvel is doing and critics are incorrectly saying they are different?

Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?

They are doing same things - as in making comic book movies for a shared universe. Tones of their films could be a bit different depending on the film, but in general - DC is constantly under shytstorm for doing lots of same things Marvel is praised for. There is no way around that. Either that, or because BvS dared not to crack jokes every second. Even some critics have pointed out that htey dislike the film because is' not like MCU film.

It makes prefect sense for a BvS to be dark, because it's that "darkest before the dawn" situation of the series. EVen though I can find flaws (as well as in most MCu films), UC for BvS was great, not only as superhero film.
