Roundhay Garden Scene : Time for a sequel!

Time for a sequel!

Roundhay Garden: Two Years Later. Who would you cast in the sequel?

Here's mine:

Guy walking across the screen: Brad Pitt
Woman turning around: Asia Carrera
Woman stepping back and forth: Rosie O'Donnel
Old guy in trench coat: Robert Duvall

And it would have to be directed by Michael Bay.

We're working on a history report, not a babe report.

Re: Time for a sequel!

Way to go harris!!!
But if the sequel shall [i]achieve/[i] (read: to be directed by Michael Bay) it must include a title card, which says: "BOOOOM!" - without it, it would lack the necessary means for a necessary means for success at the box office. Also dude, it would add more depth to the story.

Re: Time for a sequel!

Actually, I think it would make a better TV series, "Two More Seconds from the Garden"

And the sponsers couldn't complain - just think of the extra time left over for insurance ads with cavemen!!

Looking down at my shoes
The one smiling like the sun
That's you"

Re: Time for a sequel!

No, DUDE!!! The longer the sequel, the worse the movie - just look at 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

I think that this movie would do best to stay away from the actual garden: Just set up an entirely new setting plot, after some exposition in the original location. That way, it won't be too much a retread of the original. Personally, I don't think that the identity of the guy in front of the camera should ever have his identity revealed - that would just spoil all the suspense. Also, I think it should be more about the lady with the hat than the others. She was the only one who had any appeal amongst the 15-29 males. I'd call it 'Roundhay Garden Scene II: Hat-Lady Escapes the Garden', and have her get naked periodically, in between sequences of intense violence.

Re: Time for a sequel!

There is an actual film called Roundhay Garden Scene 2!

Re: Time for a sequel!

What about a music score? I was thinking just four or five notes should do it.

Re: Time for a sequel!

I think the woman turning around and the old guy in the trench coat should get it on this time around. They had so much chemistry in the original and there was so much sexual tension.

we can be heroes, just for one day
