Sunny's days in mid JULY are not a nice thing to have here where it's WAY TOO HOT at this time of the year.
But thanks for the good wishes, and xxpo also wishes the same kind of weather for you today (where hopefully it would also be appreciated much more).
After the way RAGNAR made the BIG BOO BOO at the VIKING TEMPLE, by offering ATHELSTAN as the HUMAN SACRIFICE, it's unlikely he'd want to go back there again.
Because being there would also remind him of what he almost did to what later becomes his BEST FRIEND.
With LAGERTHA losing the baby and RAGNAR refusing to leave her alone when she told him to leave
and with her also being INJURED the last time we saw her
and with the VISION of the FARM HOUSE that Ragnar saw on the beach where LAGERTHA waves for him to come to them
my bet would be he's been staying in HEDEBY with her.
Also wonder if RAGNAR is the type who could handle living ISOLATED and ALL ALONE in the WILDERNESS???
After all of the crap that he's been through, it might be a relief to be AWAY from other people (especially when he also told YIDU he either wanted to kill them or kill himself).
But living there for SEVERAL YEARS seems UNLIKELY.
Because RAGNAR also isn't the TYPE to BROOD about things the way ROLLO does (like when he stayed DRUNK for 4 YEARS after he BETRAYED his brother by joining BORG'S ARMY).
So Ragnar would probably also GET BETTER much quicker than ROLLO if he was using the BEAR CABIN as a REHAB CENTER???
So maybe he stays at the CABIN for a month or so
then ends up living in HEDEBY with LAGERTHA
(because maybe BJORN who probably also knows where he's at also tells him how badly his mother was doing after the INJURY from the SPEAR)???

Ok, agreeRagnar wouldn't sit for years in the forest.
As said, for sure his crow-buddies helped him to cleanup his mind.
Maybe Ragnar stayed with Lagertha in Hedeby for a time, but I doubt it.
Even if not, they're still friends, leastwise friends.
Queen Aslaug needs to cover her back if she goes against Lagertha.
My theory:
Aslaug goes against Lagerthaor vice versa (doesn't change much).
Ragnar goes against Aslaug.
Floki supports Aslaug and by Floki's intrigue Ragnar lands in the snake pit.
Remember the painting of Ragnar's Last Supper?Floki will betray "Jesus" Ragnar.
Ragnar's death causes a rebellion of his sons who get rid of Aslaug and Floki in a kind of political purge. Subsequently Ragnar's sons and the Great Heathen Army sail to England to take revengeKing Aelle becomes a blood eagle.

A year ago, C Standen was doing some interview for a viking objects related company and he showed us not one but two poles at the centre of a norse village
we do not know whether it was hedeby or kattegat
and he said something I cannot quote because I have forgotten the exact senrence but it rings at some people were going to be judged
as Rollo is in Frankia and unlikely to return to Kattegat (historical Rollo never left Normandy) and as Ragnar and Floki are accomplices in hiding the Wessex massacre

It would be lovely to see Ragnar and Floki tied to poles in Kattegat and judged by the people and exiled but I doubt that will happen. Those spoilers and leaked scenes and pictures never turn out the way we think they will. Previews are specifically designed to make viewers feel foolish, building up expectations in one direction and having something totally different happen.

If she over hears him saying this, Lagertha will probably also automatically assume that means the WICKED STEP MOTHER had something to do with the death of her grandchild and seek revenge.

So FURS could also create the impression there's someone in the bed.

Though partly share your opinion about uppity Aslaug, I don't dislike her as much as you do. Till she started to turn her son Ivar against his father Ragnar I basically liked her. And I like this your idea:

Because when the STORY begins and HARALDSON BRIBES HIM with the OFFER TO MARRY his DAUGHTER if he BETRAYS his brother he turns him down.
But when the FRANK KING MAKES him the SAME OFFER, HE BETRAYS his brother for a 2ND TIME.
And he also sits there and watches INNOCENT WOMEN and CHILDREN in the VIKING CAMP being MASSACRED who he also BETRAYS.
A scene that made ROLLO just as EVIL and as CORRUPT as the other 2 NORWAY BROTHERS who RAPED, TORMENTED, and MURDERED the FRANK FARM FAMILY.
So you're FREE to like whoever you like, but one is also FREE to remind you that ROLLO is still

RAGNAR may or MAY NOT end up inside of a SNAKE PITT,

But thanks for the good wishes, and xxpo also wishes the same kind of weather for you today (where hopefully it would also be appreciated much more).
After the way RAGNAR made the BIG BOO BOO at the VIKING TEMPLE, by offering ATHELSTAN as the HUMAN SACRIFICE, it's unlikely he'd want to go back there again.
Because being there would also remind him of what he almost did to what later becomes his BEST FRIEND.
With LAGERTHA losing the baby and RAGNAR refusing to leave her alone when she told him to leave
and with her also being INJURED the last time we saw her
and with the VISION of the FARM HOUSE that Ragnar saw on the beach where LAGERTHA waves for him to come to them
my bet would be he's been staying in HEDEBY with her.
Also wonder if RAGNAR is the type who could handle living ISOLATED and ALL ALONE in the WILDERNESS???
After all of the crap that he's been through, it might be a relief to be AWAY from other people (especially when he also told YIDU he either wanted to kill them or kill himself).
But living there for SEVERAL YEARS seems UNLIKELY.
Because RAGNAR also isn't the TYPE to BROOD about things the way ROLLO does (like when he stayed DRUNK for 4 YEARS after he BETRAYED his brother by joining BORG'S ARMY).
So Ragnar would probably also GET BETTER much quicker than ROLLO if he was using the BEAR CABIN as a REHAB CENTER???

then ends up living in HEDEBY with LAGERTHA
