If women do not get themselves checked out right away, as his alleged victims did not do, then rape is going to be a very hard crime to prove.

Common sense tells me the allegations are suspect. He was a rich and famous man. Why would he need to drug women to have sex with him? 
And the allegations are old. I think it's more likely that women who knew him years ago might have seen an opportunity to cash in. I mean lady, if you were raped, say something. You don't wait 30 years.
Did he act like a cad to a bunch of a women? Probably. Were they angry over a failed relationship? Obviously. That accounts for some of them. But did many women who never even had sex with him come forward to get money 30 years later?
