The Wailing is great. It starts off as a farce, and then gradually turns darker and darker. I had never seen a movie do that.

I just started 'The Haunting of Hill House' on Netflix, and the first episode is good.

Watched the first episode of Hill House last night. So good. Watched it through my fingers because I was so terrified in parts.

I liked both The Crazies and The Mist. I'll look out for Monsters and Cujo. Cujo is one of the only older King books I've never read. I need to add that to my reading list.

"Lights Out" and "Don't Scream" are intense movies that will have you at the edge of your seat.

The best "jump scare" in movie history since Hitchcock. I hate intense scenes with building music and then the "jump scare" turns out to be toast coming out of the toaster….fucking lame.
