They were chatting before they brought up the bodies in the net.

Hi Skiddoo, I do not speak Catalan, but I understood some of it and would be able to explain a small part of it. The gist of it is that at first they were joking about having caught a whale. I hope someone will come forward to interpret the full extent of what they said.

The translation it's something like this :
Fisherman 1: - What do you think we've got here ..a whale ?
Fisherman 2: - A herd of whales!. Pere come here to help. We've caught a whale.
Fisherman 3: - Ah young folks, if I was your age!..
Fisherman 1: - We know too well that your net fetched a wineskin instead of fish.
( laughs )
Fisherman 3: - Yesterday I drank so much that I locked my wife in the backyard and I went out with the pig ..
