Deception : There's NO Hope For a Season 2….Deception is DEAD

Seriously, I know the writer's a pitching season 2but nearly every show gets a second season pitch.

NBC are not that desperate to renew a drama that fell to a 1.1 in the 18-49 demo

it's not coming backNBC already have Mildly successful drama's REVOLUTION, GRIMM, CHICAGO FIRE, PARENTHOOD and SVU which will all get renewed.

all of which rate much better then DECEPTION

I watched all of Deception and enjoyed it, although the finale was a let down.
But i'm not delusional, I know it's not gonna be renewed.

There is still hope and until someone comes on this board with solid proof, I'm not listening to it!!!!!

Everyone is entitled to voice your opinion but until I hear from NBC as far as I'm concerned, there is still hope!! No final decision has been made yet and the announcement is not until May. :-)

I hate to bump this thread, but I'm going with "no news is good news." So many shows across the major networks have had decisions made already.

Ok, so this morning ABCPublicity tweeted the following message about Scandal.
'Apologies to everyone but we have not announced any renewals yet. Unfortunately someone is retweeting very old tweets'

I know this is not about Deception but this might give us some sort of renewed hope that NBC is also doing the same. Also, I thought these things are announced in May? I am still holding on to the chance Deception will be renewed for s2.

Val, you are correct. No announcements have been made yet. We should hear something no later than May 15th so I heard. Anything before that is just speculation, rumors, etc. I too am holding out with much anticipation that Deception will be renewed.

I think it will get renewed. They might do what they did with Parenthood. It was renewed for 16 episodes to see if it could build on its numbersand it did.

You know how one knows if a poster is trolling. Look at their account. How many times have they posted on the board that they are trolling and what else doo they watch.
