The Soapbox : Filmboards Admins and Moderators cannot be blocked.

We have now made it impossible to block an Admin or a Mod.

My advice to the trolls is just follow the rules and we won't have an issue with you.

Mods have a job to do. I would think fools would like a verbal warning from a moderator before they link ban you or worse. This is just normal procedure for online forums. You can't block mods.

That’s kind of stupid considering mods are just regular immature users themselves who involve themselves with the fueds. Basically it encourages discomfort and harrasment from which people can’t escape unless they stop using the boards all together.

If a mod is actually harassing someone they will no longer be a mod.

But the problem is that’s not up to you or an outside party to make that determination. That’s up to the person being harassed. If a person simple FEELS harassed, they should be able to block that person. Even Jacky would agree with me here. The admin’s determination with alleged harrasers comes in when deciding whether they should be demoted or banned, not whether users can block them. That’s up a user. Forget just harassed; if it’s subjective, as someone simply finds a mod annoying, they should be able to block them. To force people to stay in contact with people they find annoying and make them uncomfortable is ludicrous.

Especially with the class of mods we got here, who stink up the fuckin’ unemployment line.

And you thought this site was going to last 10 years? With that being a prerequisite? That doesn’t exist on ANY other social media site.

There's a difference between arguing an issue with a mod and being harassed by a mod. Like I said, if a mod is truly harassing a member and not just making sure they don't violate the rules, that mod will be fired. You know damn well there are whiners and trolls who will claim they're being harassed when the mod is only trying to keep peace on the board.

Ah, yes! I fondly remember the time Steve Lake was harassing multiple users on the regular, including threats of doxxing and irl threats of harm! Why, he even bragged that
he harassed and chased Fugazi away from the site! The speed and efficiency with which he was drummed out sets a stellar landmark by which all other examples of abusive mods being "taken care of" can forever more be judged!
