how could it be career ending? it's one of (and THE in my opinion) the greatest shows of all time. but i'm wondering the same question. mostly cause i want to marry her.

Actually, I believe she got a master of science degree in 2002 AND is going to college as a pre-med student. Not too shabby.

Well, considering Alison probably doesn't live in a vacuum, and that she probably doesn't have an ego large enough to call herself an "amazing" person, it's highly likely that someone who knows her has checked these boards and made comments.

I know this will seem totally random, but I actually went to junior high with Alison before she moved. We were friends, if I recall correctly. If you do know her, please pass my name along and give her my best and hope she's doing well! Tyler (Just remind her it I was the tall big black guy, with glasses at the time!)

Nobody likes getting bugged about the same thing over and over again, answering the same questions etc. But I guess she just wants to move on and fulfill her life plans. Fans, however, usually get confused and don't know what to ask or say when they meet somebody who's famous. It's just that they don't have a chance to get to know her. It would be impossible. Person's time slips by too fast to waste it on just every passerby.

She lives in Vermont, and worked at coffee shop. I heard she graduated from college here, and i used to see her around town sometimes, but that was a little while ago, and I moved, so I don't know what she's doing recently. Although I think shes still in Vermont because Ive seen her around Burlington a couple times. The only reason i ended up checking IMDB is because I just got done watching a season set of Pete and Pete and a friend told me she was acting again, but apparently not, i didn't think so.

WOW! That picture is FLAT OUT TERRIBLE. She looks like someone who could be hot, but has lost all self esteem and just quit trying. Seriously, get some contacts and do something other than the 70 year old librarian look with your hair.

Are looks everything? I've seen people who look good but were flat out terrible people. I think Alison is comfortable with herself. She may not be a glamour girl, but I'm sure she can look nice when she wants. You can have self esteem and not be dolled up all the time. As long as she's okay with herself, that's all that matters. I don't think she's trying to please anyone, which so many try to do, she's just being her.
With the career she has now, looking pretty isn't a priority, being smart and hardworking is! I'm sure her work is hard, so looking pretty is the last thing on her mind, when she has so many other things to do.
You never know she could look like a "librarian" in the day, but be a sexy vixen at night. =)

Back in the 90's my wife and I would watch MST3K on Sunday's and Pete and Pete, the two best shows on TV.
Glad to hear that her life is going well, and that she's doing what she wants. Maybe she and the rest of the cast and crew can join with the fans in telling Nick to get off their collective butts and actually come out with season 3 on DVD. ;) I'd like to fork over the money for it so they get some residuals for their work.
It's nice to know that the cast of didn't pull a "River Phoenix".

I didn't want to ask her if she knew who she looked like, but I couldn't help it. I kind of made her tell me who she looked like, in a way. ANYWAYS!!! She told me that she graduated from college and is working at a children's hospital in or around my mall at Willow Grove, PA. Just let her know that me and my roommates are happy for her success and sorry if I made her feel awkward on her way out the door. Well, w/e I sound like a tool, but let her know she looks great and to keep up all the hard work in my area!!!! & & & to keep up her trips to the mall so I can scream who she is at the top of my lungs. I have many friends who used to watch the show as often as I did, it was one of the nicest show of my / our childhood!
And I guess almost every guy at my age had a crush on Alison.
