They tried to make me eat things like oatmeal and farina, sweet potatoes and yams but I would stuff my cheeks with the stuff then cough it out into a napkin or run to the toilet to spit it out .
I think once a child agrees to taste something, they should not be forced to eat it if they don't like it. Some foods just don't agree with some people, it might be the smell, texture or taste but I don't believe in force feeding. That also goes for adults.
It's funny, I think I've developed a taste for all the things I hated as a kid.
Hated these when I was a kid. I used to shovel it off the plate and into my hands, then show my parents the plate was clean (with my hands underneath the plate). Then I'd walk to the kitchen sink and rinse the food off my hands and down the drain.
Liver and fried bologna. I can't stand either one.
