The real reason why Shawn has alot of subs because Shawn does the DVD/Blu-ray Update and make vieos about going out to buy DVDs/Blu-ray. Sometimes Shawn does a movie review videos because he wants the directors to watch his movie review videos.

And he's been on YouTube for a really long time making videos consistently. Pickup videos aren't very popular in general.

he started his youtube 10 years ago. not much competitiob68n back then. think he was the first youtube guy to do dvd updates. if he started today, he would struggle to get subs. wouldn't stand out from the crowd. he's not a good movie review, not funny or insightful.

only reason Shawn has been able to do it for so long is because he lives off his parents. he has all the time in the world to watch movies and make youtube videos. most youtubers his size need real jobs to get by. even Brendan has a job.
